Like our philosophy? Then come join our team! We are small and growing, and you can have an impact on all kinds of students, including those with learning challenges and intellectual gifts. We are always looking for energetic, creative, and academically talented tutors to help us help our students. You’ll have the opportunity to work with very bright tutors and experienced college counselors in a warm, professional environment. We all love to learn, about academics or colleges, and we feel great about creating options for our students.
Tutors need to 1) have a degree from a 4-year college and 2) score between 760 and 800 on the math or verbal SAT sections and a 34-36 on the ACT math/science or verbal sections; all tests are to be taken in one of our offices. Teaching and/or test prep experience is a plus, but we provide plenty of training and support. You’ll learn about our unique academic approach to standardized tests.
At times, we also need tutors to work with students on the following tests or subjects:
- Reading Specialists/LDTC
- SAT Subject tests
- AP Exams
- Middle or high school curriculum (Language Arts, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Social Studies, Psychology, Anatomy, Environmental Science, Statistics, Economics)
- Study Skills for all grades
To apply, please send your resume with a cover letter to Stefanie at firstname.lastname@example.org, explaining why you would be a good tutor.
We are always looking for great people. Tutoring/teaching positions are primarily part-time. Hours include evenings and weekends. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
