Prep and Boarding School Consulting

Boarding schools can offer wonderful opportunities that go beyond what a student might find locally. But unless a parent has detailed and current knowledge of independent schools, it can be difficult to evaluate the options. School websites and brochures often look alike, and usually don’t tell the whole story. We help families navigate the boarding school world and the admissions process.

Ivy Ed matches the Student to the School

At Ivy Ed, we start with an intake meeting where we review the student’s grades, testing, learning style, and interests. We ask about the reason for the change in schools and discuss which boarding schools could help to bring out the best in your child. We work with all types of students: from those who are considering boarding school for a greater academic challenge to those who need learning support; young athletes who want to pursue a sport on a higher level, and students who are interested in the international and community aspects of boarding school.”

Boarding schools accept new students into any grade, including a post-graduate year for those who have finished high school but want to grow in maturity or build academic skills. Ivy Ed helps students navigate the admissions process and ultimately find a boarding school where they can be successful and happy.
